Test Mix (hoch dosiert)

Four testosterone esters in one oil: propionate, phenylpropionate, isocaproate and decanoate. There are two versions that differ only in the decanoate share, so the stronger one lasts longer. Compared with the classic four-ester mix there is simply more compound in every ml.

Each ester releases testosterone from the oil depot at a different speed. After one injection of the classic four-ester mix all esters were detectable in blood in a doping control study with six participants. The detection time depended on the ester. In an older comparison study levels stayed above the lower normal limit for one to two days after propionate and for 14 days after enanthate.

According to the lexicon it does not, it only means less oil per dose. What matters is the amount of testosterone: in a trial with five dose levels over 20 weeks fat-free mass rose by 3.4, 5.2 and 7.9 kg in the three higher levels while HDL cholesterol fell with the level. In an analysis of the same trials haemoglobin and haematocrit rose linearly with the amount.

Not on the highly concentrated version. As of 26 October 2026 ClinicalTrials.gov lists one completed phase 4 trial with the same four esters at a lower concentration: 140 participants, men with congenital hormone deficiency and healthy controls, looking at subgroups of HDL cholesterol.

In a study of 140 experienced strength athletes long-term users pumped less blood per heartbeat than non-users (ejection fraction 52 vs 63 percent), those currently on steroids the least. Users had more plaque in the coronary arteries, the longer the total use, the more.

The HAARLEM study followed 100 men through a self-chosen cycle and one year. All reported at least one side effect, most often fluid retention (56 percent) and agitation (36 percent) during the cycle and lower libido afterwards (58 percent). Acne occurred in 28 percent and breast tissue growth in 19 percent. Four had a serious event. After one year the observed effects were back at baseline. The amount played no visible role in the type and severity of side effects there.

Testosterone from outside suppresses the hormone axis. In a comparison study LH stayed suppressed as long as the level was raised. In the WHO study with weekly testosterone enanthate a cumulative 65 percent had no detectable sperm after 6 months, after stopping recovery took a median of 3.7 months until at least 20 million sperm per ml returned.
