In an older comparison study levels stayed above the lower normal limit for one to two days after propionate and for 14 days after enanthate. According to a review trenbolone binds the androgen receptor about three times as strongly as testosterone. In tissue testosterone is partly converted into DHT and estradiol while trenbolone is converted into weaker androgens. That is why it acts less androgenic and less estrogenic in tissue. In various animal species it increased muscle and bone mass and lowered body fat. There are no controlled trials in humans.

No. As of 26 October 2026 ClinicalTrials.gov lists no study on the blend and none on trenbolone. Testosterone propionate appears there only as a nasal spray and as a cream, not as an injection. The figures on the effect of testosterone therefore come from trials with testosterone enanthate.

In the best-known trial 43 healthy men received testosterone enanthate or placebo once a week for 10 weeks, with or without strength training. Without training bench-press strength rose by 9 kg on testosterone and fell by 1 kg on placebo. With training they gained 22 kg in the bench press, 38 kg in the squat and 6.1 kg of fat-free mass. Mood and behaviour did not change in any group. Testosterone alone was tested, not the blend.

In strength athletes on several steroids HDL cholesterol fell from 1.08 to 0.43 mmol/l, apolipoprotein A1 fell and apolipoprotein B rose. Six weeks after stopping the values had not yet recovered. Long-term users had weaker heart pumping function. In the HAARLEM cohort every one of the 100 users had at least one side effect, four had a serious event.

Testosterone from outside suppresses the hormone axis. In a comparison study LH stayed suppressed as long as the level was raised, one to two days after one injection of propionate. With short esters the suppression after a single dose therefore ends sooner. How fast the axis recovers after a whole cycle with this blend has not been studied.
