Description
Anadrol Oil is the oily injection form of Oxymetholone. The substance itself is identical with classic oral Anadrol, just in oily vehicle for intramuscular administration. The first pass through the liver is bypassed, reducing hepatotoxicity.
Per study reports pharmacology remains identical: highly-potent androgen receptor agonist with additional direct estrogen receptor activation (paradoxical estrogen effect without aromatization), strong water retention, rapid mass gain. Effects on hematocrit (Anadrol was originally an anemia medication) are the same under injection.
The main advantage of the injectable form: substantially reduced first-pass hepatic load. Classical oral Anadrol is one of the most hepatotoxic anabolics of the class; the injection distributes systemically without the intense liver first-pass.
Pharmacokinetically the oily injection has a slightly longer effective half-life than the tablet (~10-12 hours), making daily injections practicable.
Known effects are the same as under oral Anadrol: rapid mass gain (often 5-10kg in 4-6 weeks), pronounced water retention, paradoxical estrogen effects (gynecomastia research findings possible), hypertension, unfavorable lipid profile, HPG suppression. Liver effects measurably lower than oral.
In recreational research practice Anadrol Oil is often used as alternative for longer Anadrol cycles where the oral form would be limited by hepatotoxicity.
Oxymetholone is on the WADA banned list.

Risks & Safety
Anadrol Oil bypasses the intense liver first-pass of the oral form - but the liver burden reduced in the available data does not change the fact that Oxymetholone is 17-alpha-methylated and ranks among the most potent anabolics of the class.
Documented in studies and the application literature:
- Hepatotoxicity: oral Anadrol is among the most hepatotoxic anabolics overall, the injection form measurably reduces the liver burden but remains hepatotoxic due to the 17-alpha-methyl group.
- Paradoxical estrogen effects: Oxymetholone does not aromatize but directly activates the estrogen receptor. Pronounced water retention and gynecomastia research findings are documented, which a classical aromatase inhibitor does not reliably address.
- Erythropoiesis: Anadrol was originally an anemia medication, a marked hematocrit rise with elevated thrombosis risk is documented.
- Suppression of endogenous production and cardiovascular: a pronounced HPG suppression, hypertension and an unfavorable lipid profile are documented.
