Description

Salbutamol (Albuterol) is a selective beta-2 adrenoceptor agonist, used worldwide as a short-acting bronchodilator in asthma therapy. In anabolic community contexts, Salbutamol is used as a milder cousin of Clenbuterol: similar mechanism, substantially shorter half-life, less cardiac stress.

Per study reports Salbutamol activates beta-2 receptors in skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, adipose tissue, and bronchi. Like Clenbuterol, the substance raises lipolysis, thermogenesis, and relaxes bronchial smooth muscle. Anti-catabolic action at skeletal muscle is also documented but lower than under Clenbuterol.

The main difference is in pharmacokinetics: Salbutamol has a half-life of only 4-6 hours versus 26-34 hours for Clenbuterol. This means 3-4 doses per day and a short action profile per dose. In cutting research this profile is used either as pre-workout (acute thermogenesis) or distributed over the day.

The shorter half-life has an important advantage: beta-2 receptor desensitization sets in more slowly than under Clenbuterol. In some research protocols Salbutamol is therefore used for longer continuous cycles, while Clenbuterol typically comes in 2-week pulses.

Known effects are dose-dependent: tremor, palpitations, hypokalemia. Incidence of severe cardiac effects is lower than under Clenbuterol because peak values and dwell time are lower.

You can order Salbutamol as oral tablets in one bottle with 4mg per tablet.

Risks & Safety

Salbutamol sits in the mid range of the risk scale. As a beta-2 agonist the compound shares the mechanism of Clenbuterol, but its short half-life makes the cardiac profile milder.

Documented in studies and the literature:

  • Tremor: shaking, especially of the hands, is one of the most commonly documented dose-dependent observations.
  • Tachycardia: palpitations and raised pulse are documented, though the incidence of severe cardiac effects is lower than under Clenbuterol.
  • Jitteriness: nervousness and inner restlessness are described in the literature as accompanying effects of beta-2 stimulation.
  • Hypokalemia: beta-2 activation can cause a potassium shift with multiple daily doses.

Monitoring via bloodwork is recommended. This classification does not replace medical advice. Risk and responsibility for any actual use lie entirely with the buyer.
