Tri-Test

The 350 version contains enanthate, cypionate and propionate, the 400 version cypionate, decanoate and enanthate. Propionate adds a fast part: after one dose testosterone stayed above the normal range for about 48 hours in one study. According to the lexicon decanoate releases the compound most slowly.

In a comparison study testosterone peaked 8 to 24 hours after the injection (four to five times the starting level) and was back at baseline after 9 days. LH and FSH stayed suppressed as long as the level was raised.

There is no study on this. In a study in monkeys the release profile and the conversion to estradiol shaped the effect more than the total amount of testosterone: enanthate gave higher peaks, longer-acting forms lowered blood lipids more. This does not transfer directly to humans or to Tri-Test.

43 healthy men received 600 mg of testosterone enanthate or placebo once a week for 10 weeks, with or without strength training. Without training bench-press strength rose by 9 kg on testosterone and fell by 1 kg on placebo. With training they gained 22 kg on the bench press and 6.1 kg of fat-free mass. Mood and behaviour did not change in any group.

Yes. In a trial with five dose levels over 20 weeks fat-free mass rose by 3.4, 5.2 and 7.9 kg in the three higher levels. Fat mass and HDL cholesterol fell as levels rose while haemoglobin and haematocrit went up, more so in older men.

There are no data on Tri-Test itself. In a 26-week trial with enanthate in a replacement amount 25.6 percent had an adverse drug reaction, most often raised haematocrit (7.5 percent), along with bleeding or bruising at the injection site and raised PSA. Haemoglobin and haematocrit rise with the dose.

The blend is not. ChEMBL lists the components enanthate, propionate and cypionate as approved drugs. Trials with enanthate are still running on the registry, one of them with enanthate, cypionate and propionate in elite athletes. Everything here is the state of research, not a recommendation.
