Everything about BPC-157 Oral

Description

BPC-157 Oral-2 is an alternative packaging variant of oral BPC-157 - instead of 100 tablets, the compound comes in 60 capsules per pack. The substance itself is identical with the standard oral BPC-157 form; packaging variant differs in per-pack compound amount and capsule-instead-of-tablet form.

Per study reports pharmacology remains identical to standard BPC-157 Oral: pentadecapeptide with healing effects on tendons, ligaments, muscles, connective tissue and gastrointestinal tract. Oral bioavailability is low compared to subcutaneous form, with advantage in local gastrointestinal research applications.

The capsule form has a practical advantage: better stomach tolerance for users finding tablets unpleasant. Some capsule formulations have enteric coating, which can theoretically improve bioavailability.

Pharmacokinetically orally bioavailable with moderate to low systemic bioavailability. Half-life after absorption several hours.

You can order BPC-157 Oral-2 as capsules in one bottle with 500mcg per capsule in 60-vials.

Risks & Safety

BPC-157 Oral-2 is considered remarkably well tolerated per study reports. The substance is identical with standard oral BPC-157; the capsule form differs only in delivery.

Observed in research and user reports:

  • Gastrointestinal tract: as an oral form, mild transient gastrointestinal observations are the most likely. The capsule form is perceived by some users as gentler on the stomach than tablets.
  • Low systemic bioavailability: enzymatic degradation in the gastrointestinal tract substantially reduces systemic availability compared to the subcutaneous form - this is primarily an efficacy question, not a safety one.
  • Circulation: isolated reports of brief fatigue or a feeling of warmth shortly after application.
  • No long-term data: robust long-term human studies do not exist. The favorable safety profile rests primarily on animal models and short-term anecdotal experience.

This classification does not replace medical advice. Risk and responsibility for any actual use lie entirely with the buyer.

Still have a question?

Write to us, our team will help you.

Is the capsule different from the tablet?

Not in terms of the compound. Capsule and tablet both contain BPC-157, only the shell differs. There are no comparative data on capsule versus tablet and no human study of either form.

Is BPC-157 absorbed by mouth at all?

According to a review by the developer group, BPC-157 is stable in human gastric juice. In rat studies it worked via the drinking water much like when injected. There are no blood measurements after oral dosing. After dosing into muscle 14 to 19 percent reached the blood in rats and 45 to 51 percent in dogs, the half-life was under 30 minutes.

What do the animal studies show for the gut?

In rats with a fistula between colon and skin the colon and skin defects healed faster when BPC-157 was injected or added to the drinking water. In short bowel syndrome the animals given BPC-157 by mouth or by injection started gaining weight again right away. There are also findings on alcohol and painkiller damage to the stomach and oesophagus.

Are there studies in humans?

Very few. A systematic review up to June 2026 found three studies with 30 people in total: knee injections, dosing into the bladder and a small safety study into a vein. All without a control group, none with a capsule or tablet. A registered phase 1 tablet trial from 2015 has not published results to this day.

Which trials are running right now?

As of 26 October 2026 no trial with BPC-157 is recruiting. A phase 1 trial with 30 planned participants after shoulder surgery has been announced, where BPC-157 is injected under the skin, with the start planned for January 2027. No capsule trial is registered.

Which side effects are known?

No treatment-related side effects occurred in the three small human studies, but the certainty is very low. One review found no clinical safety data and names risks from unregulated manufacturing and contamination. There are no data of its own on the capsule.
