Everything about Selank + Semax Blend

Description

Selank + Semax Blend is a research formulation with two classical Russian nootropic peptides in one solution: Selank (anxiolytic) and Semax (cognitive-promoting). Typical split is 10mg per compound, so 20mg total peptide per vial.

Per study reports the formulation combines the complementary action profiles of the two compounds:

  • Selank modulates GABAergic and serotonergic pathways with anxiolytic action without sedation
  • Semax modulates BDNF expression and cholinergic/dopaminergic pathways with cognitive-promoting action

Both peptides were developed at the Russian Institute of Molecular Genetics and are clinically approved in Russia. The combo form is more convenient than two separate injections or drop setups.

Typical application is intranasal in multiple daily drop doses, in 14-21 day courses.

You can order Selank + Semax Blend as lyophilized peptide in 10-pack at 20mg per vial.

Risks & Safety

Selank + Semax Blend is considered very well tolerated per study reports. Both individual compounds have consistently been described as low in side effects across decades of Russian research.

Observed in research and user reports:

  • Intranasal irritation: since the blend is used intranasally, mild burning, dryness or irritation of the nasal mucosa is the most common observation.
  • Opposing profiles: the blend combines the calming, anxiolytic Selank axis with the stimulating, cognitive Semax axis, so fatigue or mild restlessness is reported depending on time of day.
  • Mechanistic clarity: as a combo formulation, the contributions of the two components to observed effects cannot be cleanly separated.
  • Limited long-term data: robust long-term human studies outside the Russian research context are largely lacking. Specific data on the blend form do not exist.

This classification does not replace medical advice. Risk and responsibility for any actual use lie entirely with the buyer.

Still have a question?

Write to us, our team will help you.

Is the blend approved?

No. No approval is known for the fixed blend, Selank and Semax are not approved in the EU or the USA either. None of the compounds is listed on ClinicalTrials.gov. The information here describes the state of research and is not a recommendation for use.

What is in the blend?

Two heptapeptides in equal parts. Selank (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) is considered anxiolytic, Semax (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro) is studied for its effect on growth factors in the brain. Both end in Pro-Gly-Pro.

What is known about Selank?

In a Russian study with 62 people with anxiety disorder or neurasthenia Selank had an anxiolytic effect similar to medazepam, plus an activating effect. In another study Selank as an add-on eased the unwanted effects of phenazepam. In the lab it increased the binding of GABA to brain membranes.

What is known about Semax?

In rats a single dose raised the growth protein BDNF in the hippocampus to 1.4 times. In Russia Semax was studied after strokes, in a study with 110 people blood BDNF rose and recovery went better.

Has the blend itself been studied?

No. There is no published study and no registry record on the combination. Whether the effects complement, weaken or influence each other has not been tested. The shares cannot be adjusted separately in the fixed blend.

Which side effects are known?

There are no solid figures. The studies on Selank and Semax give no frequencies in their abstracts, there are no human data on the blend.
