Description
Waklert is armodafinil 150mg from Sun Pharmaceutical Industries. Pharmacologically identical to our generic armodafinil: same active substance, same strength, same profile. The difference lies in the manufacturer.
Armodafinil is the R-enantiomer of modafinil. Modafinil itself is a racemate of two mirror-image molecules; the R-enantiomer has the markedly longer half-life, while the S-enantiomer clears from plasma roughly three times faster. Armodafinil isolates the slower-clearing half, which is why 150mg corresponds to around 200mg modafinil. Plasma levels fall more gently across the afternoon than with an equivalent modafinil dose.
Sun Pharma is India’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturer. Waklert is the brand under which armodafinil runs there. In the randomized multicenter study by Czeisler and colleagues in 254 night shift workers, armodafinil 150mg lengthened mean sleep latency from 2.3 to 5.3 minutes without disturbing daytime sleep on polysomnography.
If you want the substance and can do without the name, our generic armodafinil is the cheaper option.
You can order Waklert as oral tablets with 150mg per tablet, 10 tablets per blister.

Risks & Safety
The safety profile matches that of modafinil.
- Severe skin reactions: Severe skin reactions up to Stevens-Johnson syndrome are documented for the class. Very rare, usually within the first weeks, potentially life-threatening. Any new rash is a reason to stop.
- Interaction with hormonal contraceptives: The class induces CYP3A4; reliability of hormonal contraception is reduced during use and for roughly one month afterwards.
- A longer effect means a longer sleep shift: The advantage of armodafinil is also its risk. Dosed in the afternoon it pushes sleep further into the night than modafinil would.
- Further CYP interactions: CYP2C19 is inhibited, affecting diazepam, omeprazole and phenytoin among others.
- Common adverse effects: Headache, nausea, nervousness, reduced appetite, dry mouth. Slight increases in blood pressure and heart rate are described.
- Abuse potential: Lower than with amphetamines, but present.
This classification does not replace medical advice. Risk and responsibility for any actual use lie entirely with the buyer.
