What is Telmisartan?
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used to treat hypertension. It blocks the binding of angiotensin II to AT1 receptors, leading to blood vessel relaxation and blood pressure reduction. Telmisartan has a long half-life enabling once-daily dosing.

How it works
