What is 5-Amino-1MQ Oral?
5-Amino-1MQ Oral is the tablet form of the NNMT inhibitor 5-Amino-1MQ, which you also find as an injection in the lexicon. As a small molecule it is in principle suitable for oral uptake. The metabolic principle is the same, just without an injection.
Up front: purely preclinical, no human data.
How it works
Like the injectable form, it inhibits the enzyme NNMT in fat tissue, shifts the methyl metabolism and raises the cellular NAD level. In mice this led to less fat mass without changed eating behavior.

How to take it
Oral, usually one tablet per day with some water, with or without food.

What the research shows
The basis is the same as the injectable form (Neelakantan, 2018): NNMT inhibition lowered fat mass in obese mice. That is preclinical, human studies are missing. Stay realistic, it does not replace a calorie deficit.
